Release Date and Design
- The Pixel Fold 2 is expected to arrive this year, possibly in the spring or fall. Google may announce it at Google I/O 2024, but there’s speculation that it could launch alongside the Pixel 9 series later in the year.
- Design-wise, the Pixel Fold 2 is rumored to have a narrower and sleeker profile compared to its predecessor. It might also feature less of a camera bump on the rear.
Spec Upgrades:
- The outer screen could increase from 5.8 to 6 inches, providing more real estate for your interactions.
- Inside, the Pixel Fold 2 is expected to have smaller bezels on the inner display, giving it a sleeker look.
- The front-facing camera might move from the bezel to under the display, enhancing the overall aesthetics.
- In terms of performance, the Pixel Fold 2 could come with 16GB of RAM (up from 12GB) and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage (up from UFS 3.1), resulting in faster data transfers.
